Mundi Foundation

(the purpose)

In an increasingly digital world, Mundi Foundation supports artists and artisans whose work preserves material knowledge, cultural memory and human ways of making.

Through its residency program, the foundation gives space, time and visibility to creative practices that might otherwise remain outside the speed of technology and capital.

Architect · Designer · Painter · Artisan

Mundi was born in Europe, shaped by its depth, diversity and long view. This is our starting point — not the limit of our ambition.

From Europe, we invest globally: following talent, technology and opportunity across borders, sectors and cultures.

Our connection to art is part of this perspective. Not as decoration, but as a discipline of attention — a way to read complexity, recognise emerging forms and stay close to what is human in moments of change.

(About the Residency)

A residency for craft, time and human knowledge. The Artist in Residence program supports selected artists and artisans by giving visibility to their work and creating a space for practices rooted in material intelligence, patience and human skill.

A residency for craft, time and human knowledge. The Artist in Residence program supports selected artists and artisans by giving visibility to their work and creating a space for practices rooted in material intelligence, patience and human skill.

Today, the program begins with Charles Villeneuve: an artist whose work moves between architecture, design, painting and craftsmanship. Over time, Mundi Foundation will grow into a broader community of artisans supported by the company.

Mundi Foundation exists as a reminder that progress is not only built through technology, but also through the people who preserve knowledge, materials and ways of making across generations.
